My mom found a cool game for Makayla - Animal Scramble. She looked so cute closing her eyes and counting to ten while all the animals were hidden! 
Of course there was also wedding planning too! And to complete the weekend, dinner at the Mexican restaurant - I'm pretty sure Jason was more excited about that than he was running the race... 
Then after his nap, Makayla tried to read a book to Conner.
I guess he was ready for snack though...

Since Conner seems to be protesting babyfood, we have moved on to as much finger food as possible. His latest favorite - meatballs!

We enjoyed a lot of hanging out and Makayla spent a lot of time with the horses. Usually it takes her a day or two to warm up to them, but not this time! She pet one right away Friday night and was even feeding them peppermints the rest of the weekend!
Conner wasn't crying, but also didn't seem impressed by the horses...
Saturday night Erin put us to work with wedding preparations. Makayla enjoyed watching everything that was going on and blowing up balloons with a cool thing Sean and Kristen got for her. By the end of the weekend there were balloons everywhere! 
Conner had a fun time rolling around and going for a ride on the car!

We met up with some friends at the bagel shop and Makayla was very excited to see green bagels! Yum!
Conner is also doing great. He weighed in at 23 pounds and is 31 inches tall. I don't think Makayla is going to be the "big" sister much longer! 
Makayla was very cute and watched the doctor very carefully when he was checking out Conner. She is an awesome big sister and her little brother loves her very much!
The doctor gave us the go ahead to start introducing some whole milk with meals so we gave it a try tonight. No surprise that he loved it!
Just imagine him saying, AGHHHHHH!
I can't believe our babies are 3 and 9 months old already! 
It was very windy when we set it up which is why we did it inside. Well then it made it's way into the dining room and I am pretty sure it's going to be in there a while...
So come on over - we are ready for formal entertaining!
